With our car transporter we can come to you, at additional cost, with up to three vehicles for your very own motorcade. Each car is part of the Macpherson family — and so each one has a name.

An ideal choice for a bride, his forward-opening doors permit easy entry and egress for even the largest of bridal gowns. The Partition glass affords you a private space just for the two of you, or seat all the bridesmaids in this spacious cabin! – when paired up with a saloon these cars can accomodate a party of 12 – saving you money!

These luxurious cars were well appointed and the largest sedans on England’s roads in the 1950s.
Back in the day these distinguished saloons were typically the transport of choice for bank managers and executives, or wealthy families. They were also well represented in Britain’s corridors of power and employed by the military’s top brass

This Impressive and Imposing vehicle is very rare indeed; Fully coach-built like the Pullman limousine by Thrupp & Maberley London, it similarly boasts forward-opening doors and a capacious cabin without having a glass partition between the chauffeur and the rear occupants -just like Clyde, Sydney really turns heads as you cruise the streets!.
This gorgeous “limousine” is truly the Pride of our fleet at Macphersons, and Syd can accommodate a large Bridal party of 12 people when paired up with a sedan of your choice. Bernie is the closest match, but you may prefer a green car or silver? You are spoilt for choice at Macphersons!

This is a delightful Humber, and probably the best model ever made for its strength and endurance, as was proven with it’s racing/rallying heritage (learn more by accessing the propaganda tab – Humber racing). Often mistaken for a Rolls Royce, it has a commanding street presence

Winston
1955 Mk4 Humber Super Snipe touring limousine, with partition glass. The actual chauffeured car of Governor-General Slim in the 1950s — he handpicked it for his own personal transport. Currently undergoing restoration.
Lennie
1963 Humber Super Snipe; fully refurbished and hot with alloy wheels. Pairs up well with Ebony and Ivory.
Archie
1957 Humber Hawk; the personal transport of the CEO of CMV, the head dealership for Rootes Group vehicles in Adelaide back in the 1950s.

Humber Estate
1966 Humber Estate Cars — not station wagons as we know them. A real mean retro look, in moss green metallic with chrome to complement those bright alloy wheels. Currently undergoing restoration; do enquire if you are keen, as they may be finished sooner rather than later.
Humber 1 Tonne
1955 Humber 4WD truck, in the final stages of restoration. Imagine the groom arriving at the ceremony in this beast — guaranteed to turn a lot of heads.

Our accredited drivers are experienced and professional, formally dressed in suit and tie. Let our friendly men in black ease the stress of your special day as they make their way, at a leisurely pace, to your chosen destination. Do make special requests — we will endeavour to cater to your every whim.
Timothy Macpherson
Owner
Timothy has had a lifetime fascination with Humber cars, probably dating back to when he rode home from the hospital on his mother’s lap. At two he was driven to Queensland in one; at sixteen he learnt to drive in one. Based in Humber Court, Happy Valley, he has been known to travel as far as Perth, Sydney and Newcastle to rescue these forgotten marques and tow them back into the Humber fold. Everyone needs a hobby, but Tim is the first to concede this one has become a full-blown obsession.
Obliging Alister
Driver
Years of driving experience. Surfs in his spare time and races road and mountain bike — he has completed the Tour Down Under course. Also works as a registered nurse in theatre.
Amenable Andy
Driver
Has skilled hands — a toolmaker by trade. Very witty, and will often have his occupants in laughter well before arriving at the ceremony.
